Steve Bannon Going After Mitch McConnell with Breitbart
Upon returning to his website Breitbart, Steve Bannon has made Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell his target. After leaving his post as White House chief strategist, Bannon told the Economist in an interview that he plans to go after the Republican leader. McConnell has been in an ongoing feud with President Donald Trump due to his handling of the debt ceiling and the failed repeal of the Affordable Care Act. In the interview, Bannon said, "In the White House I had influence. At Breitbart, I had power." He added that his website "will never turn on" Trump.
