Finding somewhere to rest in peace is, in many parts of the world, an increasingly difficult task.

As graveyards fill up, the competition for spaces is growing – and the authorities are left having to decide how to allocate them.

Now, a German town in the region of Bavaria thinks it may have an answer for burying its dead.

Al Jazeera’s Dominic Kane reports from Berchtesgaden, Germany.

Cremation is much better than burial.
Cremation is the most hygienic environmentally friendly and inexpensive way to dispose of dead bodies. In Japan 99.97% of people do cremation funerals. More people are choosing cremation now than ever before. In USA, UK, Hungary, Sweden, Denmark, etc more than 70% of all funerals are also now being done with cremation.
Cremation rates are rapidly increasing in almost every country around the world.
Burials are becoming a thing of the past.
