Friday was the final day of the World Ocean Summit held on Mexico’s Riviera Maya.

It’s a chance for business, government and environmental leaders to talk about the problems facing the world’s seas and to come up with solutions to protect the planet’s vast ocean resources.

Al Jazeera’s John Holman reports from Rivera Maya, Mexico.

Thank goodness for this great media reporting, on the current terrible state of the oceans globally, and how the Economist-World Ocean Summit in Mexico, is bringing environmentalists, governments, corporations, bankers and people together, to try and fix this problem that exists everywhere globally. The World is at the 11th hour-do or die, put up or shut up, action not merely words!

Why don't Thier billionaires pay for it?
Edit : so if its oil or resources there it belongs to them n Thier chronies(or whatever)
But when it needs protection then you guys start calling the whole world to help while your country can't enforce a simple plastic ban law.
The hipocracy of most govt is unbelievable
